MASTERS OF ARTS
The Masters of Arts (BA) program is a two (2) years program. The Master MA program is designed to provide advanced biblical and theological training for students seeking to pursue further Christian ministry and other responsibilities that necessitate in-depth theological education. The program offers five distinct faculties: Biblical Studies, Missions and Evangelism, Leadership and Administration, Education and Divinity, each focusing on specialized areas of study. To complete the MA program, students are required to fulfill a total of 81 credit hours. This includes 42 credit hours of general core courses that provide a solid foundation in biblical and theological studies. Additionally, students must complete
39 credit hours within their chosen faculty, which allows for specialized training and expertise in their desired area of ministry or research.
MASTERS OF ARTS IN BIBLICAL STUDIES (M.A. BS)
The M.A. in Biblical Studies is a two (2) years program. It exists to prepare students to study the Bible and understand Christian theology in order to enrich both their ministry effectiveness and their own personal Christian life. The M.A. in Biblical Studies is perfect for ministry leaders, Bible study leaders, and anyone who seeks to understand how God’s Word relates to our lives, church, and society. Students must cover 88 credit hours including thesis and write a doctrinal statement.
Program objectives are:
❖ Students will gain the academic skills necessary for advanced study and service in the church and society.
❖ This program is committed to stimulating learning that bears fruit in lives of faithful thinking and witness for Christ and His kingdom.
MASTERS OF ARTS IN MISSIONS (MA.MS)
The faculty of Missions is designed to equip students with specialized knowledge and skills for effective engagement in cross-cultural missions and global ministry. This faculty prepares students for leadership roles in missions organizations, church planting, and humanitarian work.
Objectives of the faculty are:
- To cultivate students’ understanding of diverse cultures, religions, and worldviews,
enabling them to effectively engage in cross-cultural ministry and establish meaningful
connections with people from different backgrounds. - To provide students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to lead and
manage missions initiatives, including strategic planning, mobilization, and partnership
development. - To deepen students’ theological understanding and biblical knowledge related to
missions, enabling them to effectively communicate and contextualize the Gospel
message in diverse cultural settings.
MASTERS OF ARTS IN LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION (MA.LA)
The faculty of Leadership and Administration equips aspiring leaders with the knowledge and skills to excel in leadership roles across various organizational contexts. Through comprehensive coursework, students gain a solid foundation in leadership principles, organizational dynamics, and effective administration, preparing them for impactful leadership in their called ministries.
Objectives of the Faculty are:
- To cultivate students’ leadership abilities by focusing on leadership theory, ethics, and
values-based decision making. Enhance their capacity to navigate complex challenges,
inspire teams, and make ethical choices aligned with organizational missions. - To Foster understanding of organizational behavior, strategic planning, financial
management, and resource development. Equip students to optimize performance,
foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and engage stakeholders to drive organizational
success. - To cultivate professional growth and adaptability in a changing business landscape.
Develop skills in communication, cross-cultural leadership, and human resource
management. Prepare students to lead diverse teams, navigate cultural differences, and
foster inclusive work environments.
MASTERS OF DIVINITY
The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a comprehensive and professional graduate degree designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual formation necessary for ministry leadership roles. This program provides a deep understanding of theological disciplines, practical ministry skills, and personal and spiritual development, preparing students for effective and transformative ministry in diverse contexts.
Objectives of the program are:
- To foster a comprehensive understanding of theological disciplines, including biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, and ethics. Develop critical thinking skills and the ability to engage in theological reflection and analysis, enabling students to articulate and apply Christian beliefs and principles to contemporary issues.
- To equip students with practical ministry skills necessary for serving in pastoral, leadership, and other ministry roles. Provide training in areas such as preaching and teaching, pastoral care and counseling, worship leadership, evangelism, and discipleship. Cultivate skills in effective communication, leadership, and organizational management within the context of ministry.
- To foster personal and spiritual growth, cultivating a deepening relationship with God and a mature Christian character. Provide opportunities for self-reflection, discernment, and formation of spiritual practices. Promote personal integrity, emotional intelligence, and ethical decision-making, enabling students to lead with integrity and compassion in their ministry contexts.
