BACHELOR OF ARTS (BA)
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is a three (3) years program. This program exists to provide the students with biblical and theological training that is necessary for other Christian ministry and other responsibilities that require advanced theological education. We have three faculties in the BA program.
These are: Missions, Ministry and Theology. Students in this program are expected to complete 91 credit hours of general core courses and 27 credit hours in his or her faculty, including 6 hours for thesis writing, for a total of 124 credit hours. Students will also be required to write a doctrinal statement as a graduation requirement though it’s not graded.
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN MISSIONS (BA.MS)
The faculty of Missions exists to train academically sound missions-minded pastors, evangelists and missionaries for the task of reaching the lost for Christ and to mobilize the church for the work of the Great Commission.
The faculty’s objectives are:
- To cultivate theological scholarship in the biblical witnesses
- To equip students to reach out to people with the Gospel cross culturally
- To foster theological education in a holistic sense in evangelism and the ministry of social action.
- To be responsive to the challenges presented by contemporary and cultural issues.
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN MINISTRY (BA.MT)
The faculty of Ministry exists to train pastors for the ministry of the global church, who are able to model and correctly handle God’s Word within any given context.
The faculty’s objectives are:
❖ To produce church leaders with contextual biblical perspective.
❖ To produce men with personal and ministerial integrity.
❖ To train men who will be able to correctly handle the Word of Truth, becoming the theological conscience and mouthpiece of the church and society.
❖ To produce men who are able to address contemporary issues in the church and society from a biblical perspective.
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY (BA.TH)
The faculty of Theology exists to equip the students with academic Bible/theological orientation and the requisite theological education which provide them a footing in Christian ministries and service.
The faculty’s objectives are:
❖ To produce men and women of personal and ministerial integrity, and useful in Christian service.
❖ To train men and women who would be knowledgeable in, and uphold Christian values in our society.
❖ To prepare men and women who will be able to correctly handle the Word of Truth.
❖ To produce men who are able to address contemporary issues in the church and society from a biblical perspective.
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (BA.CE)
The faculty of Christian Education seeks to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to serve in Christian educational ministries, teaching educational principles within a Christian context and preparing students to effectively communicate Christian values.
The faculty’s objectives are:
- To provide students with a robust and comprehensive foundation in Christian education principles for effective educational approaches within a Christian context.
- To equip students with advanced teaching and communication skills to effectively convey Christian values and principles to diverse audiences.
- To cultivate students’ leadership abilities in Christian educational ministries, empowering them to assume influential roles within and beyond the Christian community.
- To encourage the integration faith and practical experience, embodying Christian values, and gaining hands-on preparation for service in Christian educational contexts.
